Well if you didn’t already know I am so lucky to be engaged to my best friend and partner of 7 1/2 years Dave, after popping the question to me in early August.

We finally got around to organising a celebration with our nearest and dearest this month for a beautiful private dinning meal/party at the Black Horse Beamish.

After booking the event the the question hit me. What do you wear to your engagement party?

Personally, I thought there’s never a more appropriate time to sport something white. Some people like to wear the colour of their wedding theme or some people don’t think about it at all and just wear whatever they like.

I wanted to wear my best shade of white, IVORY. Ivory items aren’t easy to find however. I wanted to be comfortable as I was eating a 3 course meal and not be too over dressed.

After little joy on google I checked in with Winser London, my go to brand for work wear and classic wardrobe items. Winser are very good for variations of colour and always including Ivory.

I think this dress in a colour that suit’s you most would literally work for any occasion, it all depends on how you wear and accessorise it. The black version is next on my list.
