Mono Tweed is huge this A/W17, black and white check or dogtooth print tweed is hitting the shops all in all kind of forms. Coats, trousers and skirts being the most popular.
If you follow my blog you’ll know I only follow trends that have a classic twist and this most certainly does. And likely to worn every A/W.
My favourite mono tweed skirt on the high street that looks high end is this high waisted pelmet skirt from Warehouse. Extremely flattering and easy to dress up or down.
Wear your mono tweed skirt with:
- A pop of bright pink or poppy red.
- A Roll neck top/knit tucked in.
- Ankle boots for casual/Over the knee boots for dress.
The way to wear your mono tweed trend this Autumn is definitely with a pop of your perfect pink. Fuchsia pink and magenta knits are oh so good this season.
Fuchsia pink is in my colour palette so is a trend worth investing in for me as I will wear my colours again and again. However, this colour doesn’t suit everyone but you can find your perfect pink from your colour palette with Kettlewell Colours.
If Fuchsia pink isn’t for you or your colour palette is too warm for this tone then opt for a pop of poppy Red from your knitwear or boots.
I’m pairing my skirt with a crisp white or black roll neck tucked in and a pink poncho, both obviously in colours from my Winter colour palette with Kettlewell.
