If you’re not from the UK or have never heard of Whitby, it is a beautiful seaside town on the coast of Yorkshire. We LOVE this place and visit as a family every year in the Autumn for a relaxing week in a cottage.

Now there is definitely no room for high Fashion here, or is even any fashionable shops for that matter but that’s what I love about it.

Full of quirky shops, winding back streets with pretty doors and views of the gothic Whitby abbey every where you turn.

The main thing for me is obviously Fish N Chips, pubs and coffee shops around every corner.

The vibe for this type of holiday around this time of year is casual, comfortable and obviously colourful. Special thanks to kettlewell colours for making it so easy to nail all 3 with my new Autumn knitwear.

There are also many classic casual items included that us Brits need for easy dressing in Autumn/Winter and will wear year after year such as hunter wellies and North face body warmer etc.

One thing I did forget doh…. Was my casual satchel bag. I survived with either my nike backpack and luckily my work handbag which was in the car but was definitively too dressy for the vibe.
