ON THE 8TH DAY PULL OUT YOUR GOOD OLD LBD

Come on, is it even Christmas if you don’t wear an LBD just once this month?

I’m pulling out my fave Little black dress for the 8th day of Christmas because let’s be honest, it never fails you. This little velvet detailed, KM number will look on point every. single. Christmas.

We all have at least ONE hanging in the wardrobe, you know it always makes you feel good and is your emergency back up dress when else else fails.

A classic LBD really is one of the best investments you can make into your occasion wardrobe. I promise if you invest in a classic style that suits your body shape, it will just keep on working for you, year after year.

I personally love a tailored Black shift or pencil dress from Karen Millen (if you haven’t already noticed). You can find a classic style to suit almost everybody shape, every season at KM and I always take my clients here first when shopping for an occasion dress.

If you don’t have a fail safe LBD then head over to this post I wrote to help figure out your body shape, then you’ll know exactly what you’re looking for in those January sales.

For any of you loving this outfit from my wardrobe last year, don’t fret. KM have released an almost identical outfit this year with satin zig zag details on the dress, a leather collar on the blazer instead of velvet and lil purple patent bag. Score!

You can shop my 8th day look below OR get your head in that wardrobe lovelies and dig out your Little Black dress. You know they’re so easy to reinvent with different accessories and new hair/makeup looks each year, save some pennies and give it a go.

Here is the 2017 version of my 8th day of Christmas look below……

SHOP THE LOOK: Zig Zag satin shift dress, £130 / Tailored boxy blazer with leather collar, £199 / Black satin court heels, £65 / Purple patent crossbody bag, £65
